Though I enjoyed reading the book, there wasn't anything too new here, and the advice Lang gives will really only work with bright, motivated students with sufficient academic preparation to participate in college learning. The main reason for cheating I see in the college classes I teach is simply that the students are woefully underprepared and in some cases unable to think and write at a college level. Thus they resort to cutting and pasting. I would have liked to see this very real and pressing problem addressed in the book, and it really wasn't. Therefore it was only somewhat useful to me as an educator.
