This is my first Alexa Land story. I didn't know what to expect. When I began reading this story, I thought that I had made a huge mistake in buying this book. The main character, Quinn, is a hot mess. I told myself that there was no way I would enjoy a story with such a flamboyant character. However, after several pages, I began to develop a fondness for Quinn and every other character I encountered throughout the book. This book has become one of my favorite M/M romances of all time. Quinn will always be a hot mess, but he is an endearing, lovable, faithful and devoted hot mess! He IS a free spirit, but his attitude is infectious. I was anticipating each new adventure or experience that Quinn and Duke shared. There are some aspects of the story that were a bit unbelievable (Quinn is a world-class ballet dancer, but yet he drinks like a fish and eats crappy food? Quinn and Duke "adopt" a runaway kid without social services involved?) Oh well, suspend belief and enjoy the hell out of this story! I loved this book! I understand that this book is one of a series, so I hope there are other stories with Quinn and Duke!
